About Féile na nDéise
Held in Dungarvan, County Waterford over the May Bank Holiday weekend each year.

The full 2009 programme is now available. It features:

  • Brendan Shine in Concert, Town Hall Theatre, Thursday night.
  • The Déise Singers, An Árd Scoil na nDéise Senior Choir & Guests, Town Hall Theatre, Friday night.
  • Seisiún with Cúl Cheoil and special Guests, the Town Hall Theatre, Saturday night.
  • Whiskey Jacks open air concert, Grattan Square, Saturday afternoon.
  • George Murphy open air concert, The Lookout, Sunday afternoon.
  • Blackwater in concert, Town Hall Theatre, Sunday night.
Both concerts are at 8.30 pm and tickets for both concerts are priced at €15.00 and are now available at Dungarvan Tourist Office, Permanent TSB Bank or Downey's Bar, Dungarvan.

Guinness Féile na nDéise is a traditional Irish music and culture festival held in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Ireland every May Bank Holiday weekend. It feature's the best that Waterford has to offer in terms of top quality traditional musicians and dancers and also diverse range of street entertainment and exhibitions. Since the foundation of the festival in 1995 performers and musical groups from all over Ireland and Europe have performed at Féile na nDéise.

Dungarvan is a thriving, seaside market town nestled beneath the Knockmealdown Mountains, situated beside Dungarvan Harbour where the River Colligan broadens and enters the sea.

As well as our usual line up of top class musicians, the 2008 festival will feature a pageant about the 1798 Rebellion, puppetry shows, lectures, bucket singing, walking tours and The Guinness Music Trail.
